'A massive thank you for everything you did in the lead up, on and after the day! It was just so fantastic to have you there for the whole process and your patience and understanding and attention to detail was just amazing. I just can't thank you enough - both Gavin & I, plus my Dad & Mum, were all just singing your praises - you really made our day so perfect we couldn't have possibly wanted more.' Kate & Gavin, May 2011
Kate & Gavin had been planning their wedding for a few months, and had decided upon a Church wedding at the elegant St Nicholas' Church, Harpenden, followed by a marquee reception in Kate's parents' garden.
Having reviewed a couple of marquee companies the couple decided to engage a ternevents to plan their wedding and they were busy with work and were keen to ensure all suppliers were mindful that the wedding was taking place at the family home.
Sandy began by getting a number of marquee quotes from her trusted suppliers and Kate decided upon the excellent Pink Fish Marquees who offered the most perfect Indian lining which totally matched Kate's chosen, earthy colours. The lovely Sam of Buds of May arranged the perfect floral centrepieces which complemented the marquee and were later used as gifts.
The couple was keen for their guests to enjoy a relaxed 'English Country Garden' feel, and simple, yummy food was their choice. Kingfisher Caterers were the perfect choice for hearty canapes, splendid locally sourced sausages, with mash and excellent vegetables.
To finish off the meal Sandy had organised Noviellos Ice Cream to arrive in a van and entice the guests out of the marquee to choose their favourite ice creams.
LM2 Entertainment provided an excellent band who had the guests dancing 'til midnight.
Enormous thanks go to Simon Goold of XPose Photography whom Sandy knew before introducing them would work perfectly with Kate & Gavin and their relaxed and friendly style.
