Sandy met with Hannah and her Mum over a year before the wedding, which allowed lots of time for decision making and designing the big day.

As with many clients, Hannah & Owen had already decided upon a date and had booked both their Church ceremony and the venue for their reception, in this case the gorgeous Micklefield Hall in Sarratt, outside Watford.

Hannah & Owen had met in the States, albeit she is English and he Welsh: the couple therefore wanted to incorporate a taste of Wales, which they did with wooden love spoons as favours, and of the US, by means of a splendid New York cheesecake prepared by the excellent Carte Blanche Catering, into their fundamentally English country garden party style day.

FlowerCraft created beautiful bouquets and centrepieces which complemented the stationery designed by Dangly Dog Design.

Although the weather was also decidedly 'English' and rained all morning, the sun came out as the couple arrived at their reception and shone for the rest of the day.
